• 'SERIES 2' FASHION FILMS - SECOND OPUS

Juergen Teller shot Jean Campbell, Rianne Von Rompaey, Daphne Simons and Marte Mei van Haaster in a private Parisian townhouse.

Building on the original idea of staging a confrontation of the three photographer's vocabularies, 'SERIES 2' illustrates an international vision of fashion through its locales and the personal reflection of each artist.

The shoot by Juergen Teller took place in a setting that has all the characteristics of a classic, aristocratic French interior decor. Shadowy lighting, reinforced by the room's black paneling, creates a visual dissonance between what we think we know and what is uncustomary.

  • 'SERIES 2' FASHION FILMS - FIRST OPUS

Annie Leibovitz shot Freja Beha in New York for Louis Vuitton's SERIES 2 Spring Summer 2015 advertising campaign

More than just a campaign, with this triptych the Maison Louis Vuitton continues to push further the idea that fashion is a vast subject of observation to which each player - the designer, photographer, model or artisan - brings his or her own response and contributes to the richness of its history.

'SERIES 2' evokes the impression of proximity shown from a different angle. The shoot by Annie Leibovitz took place atop three buildings in New York that are still under construction. The original perspective over Central Park is like a response to a collection that oscillates between the familiarity of a wardrobe and the innovative character created by savoir-faire.

  • THE 'SERIES 2' FASHION CAMPAIGN

'SERIES 2' continues on from the groundbreaking triptych 'SERIES 1'. Annie Leibovitz, Juergen Teller and Bruce Weber interpret Nicolas Ghesquière's vision of the SS15 collection.

More than a sequel, 'SERIES 2' is an echo of 'SERIES 1', the first groundbreaking campaign initiated by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Maison Louis Vuitton which recently won the British Fashion Award for best advertising campaign. This polymorphic fresco illustrates an international vision of fashion through its locales and the personal reflection of each artist.

  • Lockit with Michelle Williams

With this series by Peter Lindbergh, Michelle Williams continues to disclose facets from her enthralling personality as ambassadress for Louis Vuitton.

For the first time, Michelle Williams wears looks from Nicolas Ghesquière’s collections. The pared-down backdrop of the New York studio resonates with the pure lines of both the bags and the ready-to-wear, and – with an eye on the expressive beauty of Michelle Williams – creates a subtle, intimate ambiance. To complete the looks, the campaign highlights another iconic bag from Louis Vuitton: the Lockit, in two new shades beige Galet and Black with python trim.
