    Virgil Abloh presents new classics for the Louis Vuitton Men’s Leather Goods range.

    These four bags reinvent the concept of leather goods by embracing the bodies, movements, and attitudes of contemporary masculinity. In order to develop Louis Vuitton’s new Men’s leather goods, the Artistic Director of Men’s Collections delved into the Maison’s archives and reworked several historic designs. 

    The chic Steamer, originally created in 1901, has been reinterpreted as a new business bag that is elegant, fashionable, and functional. The Soft Trunk and its Mini version, heirs of Louis Vuitton’s heritage as a trunk-maker, has retained some of its signature details but now comes in supple leather that’s easy to carry and molds to the body. The small yet spacious Pochette Volga is also a hybrid design featuring a detachable chain handle that can be used either as a small bag or fashionable wallet.

    For the first release of this new series, the Monogram Eclipse canvas was chosen to highlight the timeless elegance shared by all four models. The permanent editions of the bags will be included in all of Virgil Abloh’s future Louis Vuitton Collections in an ever-evolving array of materials and colors.

    Just like its classic lines, Louis Vuitton is introducing an exceptional personalization service for bags and small leather goods crafted in exotic skins with its My Catalogue service.

    Personalization has been an integral part of Louis Vuitton's heritage since it was founded in 1854. For an even more exclusive offering, items crafted in an exotic skin may now also be customized. The service offers a selection of different bags and small leather goods, with the option of choosing the colour from a palette of matte and shiny shades, along with the metal hardware and lining. A customizable patch (bag) or hot stamping (small leather goods) may also be added to create a unique product. Last but not least, true connoisseurs can enjoy a premium offering, with a choice between three crocodilian species: Alligator, Niloticus and Porosus.

    Personalization Exotic Leathers

    Imbued with the spirit of travel that has inspired the House since the outset, the Louis Vuitton collection of perfumed candles is an invitation to escape and to dream.

    Composed in Grasse by the Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, their fragrances immediately transport the senses. Like an olfactory snapshot, each one captures the atmosphere of an inspiring setting and brings it into the home. There, it opens a window onto a singular, exotic world, blurring the lines between interior and exterior, between here and elsewhere. Taking off is merely a matter of lighting the wick and closing one’s eyes. Nestled in daring ceramic containers designed by Marc Newson and crafted in Louis Vuitton's workshops, the candles feature a natural leather handle, an emblematic signature of the Maison, that  gives them a pure and nomadic character. 

    Launched in 2018, the Louis Vuitton collection of scented candles now comprises six creations that are like so many getaways to savor right at home. Following L’Air du Jardin, Île Blanche, Feuilles d’Or and Dehors Il Neige, it has expanded to include En Mai, a bucolic and spring-like fragrance, and Écorce Rousse, a powerful pairing of leather and wood inspired by the atelier of Asnières.
