• WOMEN'S SPRING-SUMMER 2019 SHOW: THE COUR CARRÉE

Revisiting to the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, where Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2019 runway show was held on October 3rd, 2018 (Hong Kong time).

The Renaissance façades of the Cour Carrée, one of the courtyards of the Louvre Palace, were progressively built in parallel with the evolution of the rest of the Palace until the 17th century. The buildings form a square of approximately 160 meters in length. Hence the name “carré”, meaning "square" in French.

The Cour Carrée is also situated next to the historical axis of Paris, known as the Voie Royale ("triumphal way"). This axis is a straight line of monuments and thoroughfares that extends from the equestrian statue of Louis XIV next to Ieoh Ming Pei’s pyramid all the way to the Grande Arche of La Défense, passing through the Tuileries Gardens, the obelisk of the Place de la Concorde, the Champs Élysées, and the Arc de Triomphe on the Place de l'Étoile .

  • WOMEN'S SPRING-SUMMER 2019 SHOW: INSPIRATION

Inventing a new landscape for the upcoming Women's Spring-Summer 2019 Collection

A passion for travel is inherent to the Louis Vuitton House, but shall the creation of one’s own world even surpass physical voyages? The starting point of the new Women's Collection by Nicolas Ghesquière is the idea of mirages, fantastical shores that become precious memories for every traveller. Mirage, from the Latin “mirare”, means ‘seeing with astonishment’, perhaps an apt description of fashion's essential mission.

  • BEHIND THE FRAGRANCE CAMPAIGN

Emma Stone through the lens of Craig McDean

The new Fragrance Campaign showcases House Ambassador Emma Stone against a succession of unmistakable Los Angeles locales. From a movie ranch on the outskirts of the city to Griffith Park, one of LA’s hidden treasures, director Sam Mendes and photographer Craig McDean train their lenses on the actress as she lives different moments and emotions in a woman’s life journey. Whether driving down the Pacific Coast Highway, California’s (and perhaps the world’s) most scenic route or taking the stage of the Los Angeles Theatre, she basks in the various moments that add up to the journey of life.

  • LES PARFUMS LOUIS VUITTON: ATTRAPE-RÊVES

The newest addition to Les Parfums Louis Vuitton

Setting out to discover distant horizons can lead to experiences that are as unexpected as they are magical. An aurora borealis rises across a lava desert. A cloud of fireflies takes a flight to a tropical forest. A shower of shooting stars rains down over the open sea. Such rare and fantastic phenomena become engraved in a memory forever. Fascinated by these fleeting moments that you wish you could keep forever, Louis Vuitton Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud envisioned an enchanting composition: a jubilant perfume that stirs the senses and inspires awe. Raw cocoa powder mingles with a bouquet of peonies, followed by the patchouli heart and enlivened by litchi’s fresh and sparkling notes. Discover this festive scent featured in the current Fragrance Campaign starring Emma Stone.
