Louis Vuitton introduces a minimal, new statement earring design called Planète LV.

The orb-like earrings feature an ingeniously hidden hinge, allowing them to be worn facing both ways: shiny gold engraved with the LV Circle logo or smooth pearly white. The Planète LV earrings come in a range of other reflective hues, multiplying possibilities and subtly elevating any look.

For Spring, Louis Vuitton launches new versions of the on-trend Onthego tote bag.

Reminiscent of the famous Louis Vuitton Sac Plat, an iconic shape initially launched in 1968, the Onthego also draws its inspiration from the Maison’s shopping bags. First introduced in the Monogram Reverse canvas as an oversized model, the bag now comes in a medium size as well as in a Monogram Empreinte iteration.

For his Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2020 Collection, Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh investigates the lifelong relationship formed by adolescent and young men with shirting and suiting.

Clouds provided the backdrop and recurring symbol of freedom and creativity, bringing a dreamlike aspect to the collection’s traditional men’s wardrobe starting point. Finding its way across canvas, leather, sequins, or textiles, on both bags, clothing, and accessories, the cloudscape motif also appears in the form of the LV against a gradient blue Monogram.

In twisting and turning old-world dress codes, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director neutralizes, re-appropriates and embraces them for a progressive joie de vivre. By reshaping classic Louis Vuitton forms of the Keepall or the Soft Trunk, bending them to follow the curve of the body, he highlights the Maison’s technical savoir-faire at the service of contemporary creations.

Revisiting the Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter 2020 Show through the distinctive lens of director Umi Ishihara.

Surrealism is the instinctive act of making the ordinary extraordinary. The abstraction of the familiar expands our routine horizons and makes us see the world through unfazed eyes. Virgil Abloh applies the mechanics of the surreal to rewind the clock on our collective age-inflicted comprehension. Gazing at the world through the optics of a child – of an adolescent or a young man – is tantamount to first impressions, to the purity of mind and the refreshing optimism of naivety. The turn of a decade heralds an appetite for fresh motivations.
