Comic book artist Esad Ribic draws the Hawaiian islands in a vigourous and realistic style.

Esad Ribić has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He went to the Institute of Applied Arts in Zagreb, located in a wing of the Museum of Decorative Arts, an elegant building on one of the prettiest squares in the city. He chose to study graphic arts. He was mad about comic strips and had pretty much learned to read from them.
Ribić applies colour directly to the paper, mixing watercolour and gouache.
In other words, he paints. That’s his trademark. Collectors snap up the original art of his books. Thanks to his sense of mise en scène, taste for detail and genius for colour, they are real paintings.

Each Travel Book title contains the artist's biography, travelogue, blurbs and captions. In its pages, the illustrations of renowned artists and promising young talents tell the stories of the cities and countries they have visited, depicting each place’s varied architecture and special light, and recording the passing days and the lives of its people.

For each new title, a numbered and signed limited edition is available in select Louis Vuitton stores.

The wanderlust that characterises' Louis Vuitton inspires the Spring-Summer 2018 collection with not one specific destination, but many. The luxurious pursuit of island-hopping, of moving between disparate and distinct locales, infuses a collection of hybrids and juxtapositions, built around combining different elements from different places.
