Xavier Dolan won The Grand Prix in Cannes last Sunday for the movie "It's only the end of the world".

Canadian Director Xavier Dolan has been once again awarded this year, at the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival, with The Grand Prix for his movie 'It's only the end of the world'. Indeed in 2014, he had won the Jury Prize for the movie 'Mommy'.

During the Closing Ceremony, he gave a particularly emotional speech ending it with a famous quote by Anatole France: "I prefer the folly of enthusiasm to the indifference of wisdom".

« Blossom » is a unique word describing the moment when the flowers of fruit trees bloom.

There is a word to describe the moment nature stirs from its winter sleep, the fragile and fleeting moment evoking the irresistible rebirth of beauty, the moment when a flower opens to greet the pale light of spring and herald the fertility of the fruit trees. That word is "blossom". Colour Blossom is now the name of a new Louis Vuitton jewellery collection inspired by the flowers on Monogram canvas.

Color Blossom celebrates the Monogram flowers, created in 1896 by Georges-Louis Vuitton. Set into yellow or pink gold, the flower blooms into a carved tiger eye or white mother-of-pearl. Months of work were necessary to perfect the stone’s subtle curves and sparkle. The dazzling array of jewel creations is an invitation to create your own personal harmony.

In May 2016, the “Louis Vuitton Travel Book” collection adds South Africa to its destinations and revisits the Paris edition.

It is now Brecht Evens’ turn, a young and talented author of graphic novels, to offer a fresh look at the city of Paris. While the painter Liu Xiaodong expresses his real experience of South Africa.

Each artist explores a country previously unknown to them. They confront an unfamiliar place with a viewpoint sharpened by the surprise of the unknown or stimulated by the pleasure of rediscovery.

Going beyond the pictorial vocation of these travel journals, the collection highlights the rich aesthetic horizons of today’s art. During their travels, these artists from various corners of the world were free to choose their modes of expression and communicate their views of other places through drawing, painting, collage, contemporary art, illustration, cartoons or manga.

For each new title, a limited edition of 30 copies numbered and signed by the artist will be available in selected Louis Vuitton stores. View the entire collection including the two new destinations here.
