An eternal fragrance trail. With Les Sables Roses, Louis Vuitton pays tribute to the olfactory heritage of the Middle East.
Fascinated by the scents, rites and traditions of a several thousands year-old perfume culture, Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud now orchestrates a composition of contrasts centred around the rose, oud and ambergris, three raw materials that have traversed time and geography to express "something eternal".
A landscape blanketed in crisp obscurity slowly comes into focus. It warns upon contact with the sun's first rays, wearing a majestic shade of rose that blends the dunes with the sky.
In the desert, sunrise and sunset are magical, fleeting moments that reconcile opposites. Night and day, shadow and light. Cold and heat, sky and heath. Captivating horizons entice the traveller to continue on his journey."
"At Louis Vuitton, perfumes are about contrast. One element enchances another, and vice-versa". The Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud notes. He brings this vision to life with Les Sables Roses, a hot-and-cold composition whose ingredients mutually elevate one another. It is a perfume of resolutely simple architechture, to better underscore the richness of its ingredients: a duo of rose and oud, accentuated by ambergris.

Louis Vuitton supports UNICEF who is on the ground working to meet the immediate needs of affected children and their families in the wake of the Cyclone Idai and the Cyclone Kenneth.
In March and April, Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe were hit by two cyclones in succession, devastating everything in their path.
3 million people, more than half of whom are children, today need humanitarian assistance.
Since 2016, thanks to your support, Louis Vuitton has raised more than 7 million euros for UNICEF to help children in emergencies.
Some of this amount, more than € 300,000, will help vulnerable children and their families in East African countries affected by these natural disasters.
Like them, 1.6 million children today need urgent and vital help.
You can help them and #MAKEAPROMISE by making a direct donation to UNICEF: https://help.unicef.org/help-children-affected-cyclone-idai-lv
