• LES JOURNÉES PARTICULIÈRES 2018

    Reservations are now open for Les Journées Particulières, the event that welcomes visitors to the Louis Vuitton ateliers on October 12th, 13th and 14th, 2018.

    The Journées Particulières is a unique opportunity for the Maison to showcase our artisans’ creativity and passion for their trades to the public. It is an invitation to discover exceptional venues and carefully-preserved savoir-faire.

    Every year, over the course of three days, a host of unexpected surprises awaits visitors such as performances, screenings, encounters, secret places, and exclusive workshops.

    In addition to the Louis Vuitton Workshops in Asnières, France, and Fiesso d'Artico in Veneto, Italy, two new locations will be open to the public this year: Les Fontaines Parfumées in Grasse, South of France, and the Louis Vuitton Ducey Workshop, in Normandy, France.

  • INTRODUCING THE LOUIS VUITTON NEW WAVE COLLECTION

    The Louis Vuitton New Wave collection heralds a new attitude, taking inspiration from the musical genre of the same name to revisit the joyful, colourful spirit of the Eighties in an unexpected way.

    This collection is rooted in the art of travel that sealed the House’s reputation as soon as it was founded in 1854. In particular, one trunk was decorated with a graphic, multicoloured motif that undulated like a wave. From this historical detail comes the subtle quilted design of the “Louis Vuitton New Wave” line. To make these bags the ideal everyday companion, like a favorite leather jacket you never leave home without, the house chose to create each style in exceptionally soft, supple lambskin.

    A rainbow silkscreen motif reprising the energetic rhythm of waves spells out “Vuitton” on the bags’ removable handles creating a relaxed attitude that celebrates the many pleasures of fashion within the context of Louis Vuitton’s signature timelessness. Versatile and easy to take anywhere, these shapes adapt to any setting and situation thanks to multi-wear chains. Functional and alluring, the shoulder bag style in small or large sizes can be worn over the shoulder, cross-body, or short. The tote format cleverly blends a rock spirit with more classic chic, and the clutch moves seamlessly from day to night like a chameleon.

    The latest advertising campaign reintroduces House Ambassador Emma Stone in a new role for the Maison as the face of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.

    Photographed by Craig McDean, who also shot the Spirit of Travel campaign this year, the acclaimed actress Emma Stone radiates her graceful poise against the backdrop of a stunning coastal landscape. She introduces Attrape-Rêves, whose bright, sensual notes mark the ninth women’s fragrance in the collection Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.

  • INTRODUCING THE NEW HIGH JEWELLERY COLLECTION, CONQUÊTES - REGALIA

    This latest collection, Conquêtes - Regalia, encapsulates the Maison’s expertise in transforming exceptional precious stones into the most exclusive High Jewellery.

    Regalia. This word evokes the attributes of royal power: all the insignia, ornaments and objects used by the monarchy that symbolise sovereignty. They are precious ornaments that give the wearer legitimacy. Louis Vuitton has used the stylistic vocabulary of heraldry – the science of coats of arms – and phaleristics – the science of orders and decorations – as a source of inspiration to invent new insignia of power. A power that comes naturally to women.

    Diamonds magnify unique gems in a choreography of moving shapes, curves and counter-curves, outlining flowers and Vs, the House’s two signatures. These two motifs subtly merge until they become almost indistinguishable in a new graphic design that evokes a quatrefoil or a coat of arms.

    The vibrant short film brings together two Academy-Award-winning talents, House Ambassador Emma Stone and Director Sam Mendes to mark an important milestone in Les Parfums Louis Vuitton’s history. By looking at the different moments and emotions in a woman’s life journey, the film reflects the spirit of travel and passion that is central to the Louis Vuitton values. The changing backdrops also evoke the contrasting personalities of the exceptional perfumes within the Louis Vuitton fragrance collection.
