A passion for travel is inherent to the Louis Vuitton House, but shall the creation of one’s own world even surpass physical voyages? The starting point of the new Women's Collection by Nicolas Ghesquière is the idea of mirages, fantastical shores that become precious memories for every traveller. Mirage, from the Latin “mirare”, means ‘seeing with astonishment’, perhaps an apt description of fashion's essential mission.

The Fondation Louis Vuitton is pleased to announce that its fall exhibits will be devoted to two exceptional 20th century artists : Egon Schiele and Jean Michel Basquiat.
In Fall, the Fondation will host two major exhibitions: one is dedicated to Jean-Michel Basquiat, the other one to Egon Schiele.
Egon Schiele’s work is indissociable from the Viennese spirit of the early 20th century. In just a few years, his drawing emerged as one of the peaks of expressionism. At odds with the Academy, which he entered precociously, he founded the Neukunstgruppe in 1909 and, thanks to Gustav Klimt, discovered the work of Van Gogh, Munch and Toorop. The exhibition brings together around 100 works of drawings, gouaches, and paintings.
The work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, one of the most significant painters of the 20th century, is spread over four levels of Frank Gehry’s building.
The exhibition covers the painter’s whole career, from 1980 to 1988, focusing on 120 defining works. With the Heads from 1981-1982, gathered for the first time here, and the presentation of several collaborations between Basquiat and Warhol, the exhibition includes works previously unseen in Europe.

Emma Stone through the lens of Craig McDean
The new Fragrance Campaign showcases House Ambassador Emma Stone against a succession of unmistakable Los Angeles locales. From a movie ranch on the outskirts of the city to Griffith Park, one of LA’s hidden treasures, director Sam Mendes and photographer Craig McDean train their lenses on the actress as she lives different moments and emotions in a woman’s life journey. Whether driving down the Pacific Coast Highway, California’s (and perhaps the world’s) most scenic route or taking the stage of the Los Angeles Theatre, she basks in the various moments that add up to the journey of life.
