Louis Vuitton reveals four new bags that hint at what's to come in the Women's Spring-Summer 2020 Fashion Show.

Nicolas Ghesquière shares a peek at his new collection with a new version of one New Classic bag and three entirely new models. A black Dauphine Mini features a floral Art Nouveau motif recalling the decorative style of the Vuitton home in Asnières. In the spirit of travel cases from the past, the Vanity Monogram bag has been reworked as an everyday fashion-forward city bag. The brand-new Video Cassette clutch evokes another era prone to nostalgia with its fun, trompe-l'oeil design. And lastly, the chic Blade bag incorporates subtle Louis Vuitton signatures and trunk-inspired metalware, exuding understated sophistication.

Upcoming exhibition at Fondation Louis Vuitton - From 2 October 2019 to 24 February 2020

On 2 October 2019 the Fondation Louis Vuitton opens a large-scale exhibition dedicated to Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999), a free woman, pioneer of modernity, a leading figure of the XX century design, who contributed to the definition of a new art de vivre

To mark the twentieth anniversary of the passing of Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999), the Fondation pays tribute to her as an architect and visionary creator through an exhibition of her work exploring the links between art, architecture and design.

The exhibition retraces the architectural work of Charlotte Perriand, whose creations presage current conversations about the roles of women and nature in our society. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to engage directly with a world of modernity thanks to meticulously researched, faithful reconstitutions that include works of art chosen by Charlotte Perriand, thus embodying her vision of a “synthesis of the arts”. Through this exhibition, the work of Charlotte Perriand invites us to rethink the role of art in our society. More than simply an object of pleasure, art is the spearhead of profound transformations in the society of tomorrow.

Louis Vuitton presents two new models of Tambour Watches: the New Wave and the Damier Cobalt Chronograph.

    Tambour New Wave
Inspired by the fashion-forward Louis Vuitton New Wave bags, the craftsmen at Louis Vuitton’s Fabrique du Temps created a unique quilted dial with traditional watchmaking finishes for the latest Women’s Tambour. The softness of leather is visually recreated on what is usually a flat surface using a specialized stamp. The strap features the playful Louis Vuitton signature emblematic of the New Wave leather goods collection.

    Tambour Damier Cobalt
Simple, graphic, and masculine, the Damier pattern is one of Louis Vuitton’s most iconic motifs. For the new Men’s Tambour watch, Louis Vuitton’s watchmakers have cleverly reproduced the sporty Damier Cobalt canvas on the dial of the chronograph, with Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s beloved letter “V” superimposed across the entire dial and flange.

Like all of the Tambour timepieces, the newest models feature an innovative interchangeable strap system that allows them to be endlessly and easily swapped out to suit your mood.
