Tambour Taiko Spin Time Collection

In a reinterpretation of Louis Vuitton’s emblematic Spin Time, debuted in 2009, the Tambour Taiko Spin Time Collection introduces six limited-edition timepieces powered by exclusive in-house movements. The collection reimagines the iconic patented three-dimensional jumping cubes display, inspired by the overhead flap displays that show timetables in airports. Every 60 minutes, two cubes spin — one returning to its resting position while the other rotates to reveal its hidden, embellished side.

A Horological Icon Reborn

Housed in a 39.5mm case in 18k white gold, the Tambour Taiko Spin Time boasts a water resistance of up to 100 meters and features an integrated rubber strap. Infused with contemporary elegance, this model is available in both pavé and non-pavé versions, with the pavé edition adorned with 94 baguette-cut, hand-set diamonds across the lugs and hawk’s eye dial, exuding exceptional brilliance, depth, and texture.

Encased in Elegance

Building on the design language of the Tambour, the iconic drum-shaped case is redefined with a slimmer profile, and sculpted lugs. Enhancing the allure of contemporary elegance, a carefully crafted inflection point in the cross-section that flows into the domed case. Presented in two sizes — 39.5mm or 42.5mm — with or without diamonds, the Tambour Taiko is the embodiment of unique savoir-faire and complexity.

A New Era

Revealing the in-house caliber through a display case back, the four Tambour Taiko Spin Time Air models feature a 42.5mm case that frames the dial's levitating hour-display cubes. Refined with four gently curved faces, the cubes create a cushion-shaped profile that enhances the play of light.

Precision in Motion

Combining timeless High Watchmaking traditions with modern innovation, the three unveiled Spin Time movements showcase sandblasted bridges, circular-grained plates, colorless jewels, and an 18-karat pink gold oscillating weight. Equipped with a 45-hour power reserve, the movements exemplify La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton's unparalleled precision and commitment to avant-garde craftsmanship.
