In certain circumstances, you may be able to place a "backorder" for products, e.g. where products are out of stock or are made-to-order. You acknowledge and agree that, at the time of placing the backorder, either your credit card will be authorized but not charged until the backorder ships, or your credit card will be charged at the time of placing the backorder. In any case, you agree that in the event the backordered product(s) cannot be shipped to you (for any reason, and whether or not attributable to Louis Vuitton), save for the obligation to release the credit card authorization or refund all amounts paid (as applicable), Louis Vuitton shall not be liable to you in respect of any compensation or damages, and shall not be liable to you for any interest.
