This standard requires tanneries to reduce their water and energy consumption, as well as their use of potentially hazardous substances. - Calfskin and cowhide leather scratch easily and can be damaged by greasy substances or solvents. Should it become soiled, wipe gently with a soft, dry, light-colored cloth (dark colors may transfer).
